Deisy Jimenez began riding in Eugene, Oregon with Mike Gallaway when she was only two years old, and later moved to Washington where she continued to ride for eight more years, making her riding career 18 years. With plenty of experience on ponies to green horses in all three rings, she has gained experience and knowledge in training and horsemanship. Deisy has won numerous championships, along with the award of being World Champion Hunter Rider in 2009. She was accepted into the Emerging Athletes program in 2012 at the age of 15. In the years of 2008-2010 she qualified for west coast pony finals, and in 2008-2012 she also qualified for Capital Challenge. Deisy has ridden with many clinicians and even participated in the Trainers Symposium in 2010 at the age of 13, taught by Julie Winkel and Jenny Karazissis. Recently, Deisy attended George Fox University in Oregon, and while down there she rode with trainers Rob Perkins and Joe Regan. Being raised around horses and growing up with them her whole life, has made her knowledgeable in horsemanship. At this young age with all the support of her friends and family, she has chosen to chase her dream of becoming a professional trainer.
